Stakeholder Working Group on Cybercrime
The objective of the working group is to serve as:
- An advocacy and coalition building network to promote transparent, inclusive, and human rights-respecting implementation of the Cybercrime Convention and ensure inclusive stakeholder participation in related consultations and capacity-building efforts.
- An information-sharing hub to facilitate exchanges between the UN, Member States, and the multistakeholder community and provide timely updates on developments related to the Cybercrime Convention, including engagement opportunities in multilateral and regional discussions.
The working group will also provide a platform for expert briefings to deepen understanding and foster collaboration among members on cybercrime issues, as well as conduct cybercrime law monitoring to track the Cybercrime Convention’s implementation and related legislation.
The working group is open to new members and welcomes both Alliance members and non-members to join. Members of civil society, the private sector, academia, and the technical community are invited to express their interest. Participation in the working group is entirely voluntary, with no obligations or expectations. Members are welcome to engage in any or all activities that align with their interest and availability.
