Submission of background information - 15th Crime Congress
The Secretariat to the Governing Bodies has the pleasure to remind delegations that approved Congress participants can submit background information relevant to the topics of the United Nations Congress on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (e.g. existing publications, research papers, brochures or statements prepared for other occasions), which will be posted on the Congress website and made accessible in a Digital Lounge in the Conference Centre.
In line with the commitment to sustainability and a paperless approach, materials will be made available exclusively in digital format through the Digital Lounge.
No printed material will be distributed on site.
Background information will be posted as submitted by Congress participants. A disclaimer on the website/ Digital Lounge will clarify the content does not reflect the views or policies of UNODC, nor does it imply any endorsement.
Submission of Background Information
Deadline:
∙ All background information must be submitted no later than 25 March 2026.
Submission method:
∙ Publications should be sent by email to the Secretariat’s email address: unodc-sgb@un.org.
Language
∙ Submissions must be provided in one of the six official languages of the Congress.
Format and size:
∙ Documents must be submitted in PDF format only.
∙ Each file must not exceed 5 MB.
∙ Each entity may provide a maximum of 10 publications.
Thematic areas:
All publications must be clearly designated under one of the four pillars:
1. Crime Prevention
2. Criminal Justice
3. Forms of Crime
4. International Cooperation
Please clearly indicate the relevant pillar in the email subject line or in the accompanying message to facilitate accurate categorization.
