Reconvened thirtieth session of the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (CCPCJ)

The reconvened thirtieth session of the Commission on Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice (CCPCJ)  will take place from 8 to 10 December 2021.

Due to the nationwide COVID-19 lock-down in Austria, only Member States’ delegates will attend in-person. All others are to join online. 

Civil society organisations will therefore only be able to attend online. 

NGOs in consultative status with ECOSOC are invited to participate online via the Interprefy platform and will need to register via INDICO before 6th December. 

All other organisations will be able to follow the meeting via the webcast which will be available here on the day of the session. The provisional agenda is available here.

Prior to the reconvened session, the Commission will hold a thematic discussion on Effective measures to prevent and counter the smuggling of migrants, while protecting the rights of smuggled migrants, particularly women and children, and those of unaccompanied migrant children.
